Hey guys, really need some help. Bought A blackberry here in canada off Rogers and got it unlocked to use on Fido.  I signed up for a data package.  I was told by a friend to keep data on and under roaming turn that off.  It gives me 3 options on/off/prompt.  THe thing is when i turn it off it doesnt work, only works under prompt setting.  WHen i change it to that it says roaming charges may occur.  I called fido up and they told me cause its unlocked from rogers to fido I need to keep it on Prompt and I will not get charged and shouldn't worry about it.  Only would charge me if i go out of town,  Just wanted to know any advice or what can i do.  THanks really appreciate it.

Also what does the red triangle on top mean and what does the clear triangle mean ???

This all depends on your plan from Fido.  If you are on Fido you won't be charged.  If you are on Rogers you may be charged (depending on your plan.)  The triangles usually mean you are roaming but as long as it says Fido you should be fine.  I have never seen a triangle on my phone but my wife's phone (same carrier) occasionally displays a triangle when roaming, but under our plan doesn't cost any extra.
