HS-700: I didn't hear you, please repeat. I didn't understand, please repeat...

Besides the well documented issue of broken ear loops and lack of replacements in the market (no matter where you look) I was still a happy user of the HS-700 Bluetooth headset.


I just realized today that for no particular reason the unit doesn't hear me and doesn't understand me when I use any voice command. I have to take the unit off my ear and place it almost inside my mouth and literally shout BATERY if I need to know how much charge I have left.


Conversation quality is still OK. The parties on the other end of the line can hear me just right... The issue, apparently, resides in the voice command function.


Has anybody had this problem? How did you guys worked it out?

I don't have that problem with device audible commands, I really like this headset, too.

I have not run into this issue yet.


can try to remove the pairing and set it up again.


also Try a Battery pull please, with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot device. This will clear all cache like rebooting a PC. Then try again and see if your problem persists.
