Re: Having a problem to open the Bridge contacts folder on BB playbook?

Hello letan and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your Bridge™ Contacts.

What version of Bridge is installed on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9700 smartphone? What version of software does your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet have installed?

When you go to your Contacts on your BlackBerry, are you able to access them?

Thanks!

Re: Having a problem to open the Bridge contacts folder on BB playbook?

Hi hmthepirat and all,
Version of Bridge installed on my BB 9700 is 2.1.0.32 and 2.1.0.1088 is the latest version of software installed on my BB Playbook. When I tap on the bridge contact folder on BB Playbook, I am notified a error "there are no active contact services set up on your Blackberry smartphone". What happens this matter on my BB? Thanks so much.

Re: Having a problem to open the Bridge contacts folder on BB playbook?

Does this same error display if you were to select the native Contacts icon?

On your BlackBerry directly and launch your Contacts, go to Menu>Options and what is listed under Contact Lists?

If you go to access other Bridge apps, such as Calendar or Messages, are you able to view them?

Re: Having a problem to open the Bridge contacts folder on BB playbook?

Hi hmthepirate and all,
On my Blackberry, I launch my Contacts, go to Menu -> Option and show only "Default" listed under Contact Lists, then click "Default" is my number of entries!
The oher Bridge apps, such as Calendar, Text messages, Massages, BBM, MemoPad and Tasks, are okay. Why not with the Bridge Contacts? Thanks so much

Re: Having a problem to open the Bridge contacts folder on BB playbook?

Have you done a reboot of your tablet and BlackBerry smartphone yet?

If so, and this same issue persists with your Bridge Contacts it would be advised you contact our PlayBook Support team (see http://bbry.lv/k1foYl to locate the contact info based on your Country of residence) for further investigation into this matter.

Thanks!
