Hello.New to forum. I have a new BB Curve 9330, v18.104.22.1689, Verizon and catching hell setting up BBID password. Now before you all direct me to how to reset my password listen first. My problem is that upon setting up my brand new BBID, when I get to the part of making up my brand new, first time ever password, I get error message that password is invalid or password cannot be used or password resembles a field that has already been entered. I DO NOT YET HAVE A PASSWORD TO BE RESET!!! What am I doing wrong? Someone please help.
Please tell us the exact and complete error message(s), including all punctuation, error codes, etc. Please be sure that we can properly distinguish the error message from the rest of your text. From what you've posted, I can't quite determine which error message(s) you are seeing, and the error message will guide us to the proper diagnosis/resolution.
FYI -- it is possible that a BBID was previously configured to this BB...even "new" devices have had this happen from time to time. To cure that situation, you have to WIPE the device so as to associate it to your own BB ID. But, again, the exact error message will guide us...
