Help!! BB will not backup, get message "error" but no description of problem

Trying to back up my Storm using the Desktop Manager.

 

It did back up once last week.

what I have done to try to correct:

 

Took to Verizon today and they said it backuped OK

On my Laptop:

Deleted the old backup

reinstalled Destop Manager

In the Storm:

Cleaned memory

Reboot BB (& removed SIM card)

hook up, start backup, runs for a few seconds and stops on "map File" shows error message

 

Went to VZNavigator  where ther are map files, can't find any way to delete them EXCEPT for favorite.

Re run backup now it get error on "Smart card options"

Under ADVANCED in backup menu there is nothing showing at Smatcard

 

JUST don't know what else to do!!!! HELP!!!!

make sure you clear your browser's cache before trying to use Backup in DM.  Open the browser - click BB - then Options  -  Cache Operations ... then clear all items.

 

After this do your backup and everything should work just fine !!!
