Help Me!!!

Had my bb torch for about two months now with no problems. Today I try and receive a call and they can hear me but I can't hear them unless I put it on speakerphone. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a quick fix or do I need a new phone?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Just tried it. Still not working properly. The only way I can take a call is through speakerphone. I'm thinking it's more of a technical issue. Any other thoughts?

Try the battery pull again. This time, leave it out for at least 10 minutes. Makes no sense, but sometimes it works. After that, a trip for warranty evaluation by your carrier.
