I need some advice about my phone! I have a BlackBerry Torch 9810. The screen is broken (it went black) and I'm getting a new phone all together, but I'd really like to transfer all of my information (i.e. memos, saved text messages, pictures, videos) to my laptop. When I plug it into my computer, I can't find a way to sync everything since the screen isn't working and I'm not able to select "sync." Does anyone know how I can either bypass hitting sync on the phone itself, or anywhere I can bring it to get this transfer done? Help would be a life saver! Thanks!

When you connect your BlackBerry smartphone to the computer, does the BlackBerry Desktop Software connect to it? Are you able to choose Device > Backup or is the Backup option greyed out? Does your computer detect the BlackBerry smartphone when you connect it?
