Help needed urgently

Hi dear experts 
recently I have up dated my mobile 8520 curve to the latest software 5.0 
however the problem is once I start  typing in  Arabic it types in 
different way which is not clear to understand what you have written but 
when you send what been written it goes clearly to the reciever 
I hope to find a solution for that

Hey, let's first understand... What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.5.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

 

My first suggestion would to do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner:

With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

 

Even if you have already done, let's try again.

still having the same problem its only when typing in Arabic otherwise working perfectly

ok, cool... the most recent version of the operating system for the 8520 model is 5.0.0.1067

And it is the All Languages version, it does contain Arabic.

 

Do a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > Backup. Close Desktop Manager upon completion.

1. Download the OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.
