Somehow when my 8310 was in my purse it linked the "p" button as one persons push to talk key and now my purse keeps dialing this person. How do I unlock these buttons so my phone stops dialing these numbers?

Re: Help

Press the green dial button. In that call log, if you have called that person recently, scroll down over that entry and press the MENU key (left of the trackball), and scroll down to REMOVE SPEED DIAL.

That will "disconnect" that peson's number from the P key.

Afterwards, I recommend you find a holster or case to keep the BB in your purse.

Re: Help

I have the 8330 so I'm not sure if ur phone has the same functions but I would say u need to go into ur contacts, find the person linked to the 'p' key & undo the speed dial that is set for them or if u know how to get to ur speed dial list delete the person that is set to 'p'

Re: Help

There is also a mute key on the top of your phone. Push and hold it and it will put the phone in sleep mode. This will disable the keys from accidentally being pressed. Press the mute key again to use the keypad. And why we are at it, just out of curiosity does anyone know what the symbol on the mute key is?
