Home Screen Status Indicator - a yellow sphere

I've got a new symbol in my Home Screen, in the place where indicators such as New Message, or Missed Call appear. It is a a yellow circle (or sphere), very much like the the Browser icon.

Does anyone know what it means and how to remove it? I don't seem to find it documented anywhere. I suspect it has to do with the Browser application, but I am not really sure.

Re: Home Screen Status Indicator - a yellow sphere

Zulma, Greetings, and welcome to the BlackBerry.com Support Forums.

Questions about that yellow globe notification have been answered here hundreds of times.

That's a browser push message if it is blue.
If it's yellow, it's a WAP push message.

1. Open your main Messages folder.
2. Press the Menu key (left of the trackball).
3. Click on View Folders.
4. Click on Browser Push messages (or WAP Push Messages).
5. Read or delete the messsage.

Re: Home Screen Status Indicator - a yellow sphere

I have the same yellow sphere but JSanders's solution doesn't work. There simply isn't a message in the WAP Push Messages folder. It's empty, and the icon remains. A further complaint I have is BlackBerry doesn't include this indicator in its list. you have to go to one of these sites and ask about it.

If it matters, I've synched with Gmail, plus another email service.
