WhatsApp?

Tell us on your BlackBerry which apps you have installed, that's a good place to start.

Re: Home screen icon & notification symbols

This one is stumping me.Unknown Icon

It looks like a white phone handset placed in the "hang up" position over seven white small white squares in three rows.  First two rows have three squares and the bottom row has one square in the centre.

It's near the upper-left corner of the homescreen on my Passport (OS is latest).

I cannot find it in the BB Icon list nor can I find it when I did a Google Image search.  I would post the pic hear but given this is my first post the forum rules prohibit me.

From what I read earlier I have to post 9 "junk" forum posts in order to enable picture posting but don't want to do that unless my description above is too vague.  Lemme know!

Thanks in advance for the replies.

Daryl

Re: Home screen icon & notification symbols

@DarylS1

That's in TTY mode, emulating a teletypewriter.
You can turn this off by tapping your phone app, swiping down from the top to Settings > TTY and toggle that off.

Re: Home screen icon & notification symbols

Thank you!!

I have no idea how the TTY emulator got enabled in the first place but it is off now.

Cheers,

Daryl
