Hotmail set up in BB, update failed!!!

Can anyone help me on this problem or its Hotmail server problem?

Yesterday, i deleted my Hotmail set up in my BB and then try to re-set it up again. I cannot seems to get it done eventhough the email set up is so simple.
When i tried to set up/add new email(Hotmail), after keying in the email id and password, i get the message "! Update Failed"
Tried again and again, same message!



plz help me, thanks!!!!!

Unfortunately the error messages are not very helpful.


I will say though that I deleted and readded a hotmail e-mail account several times on a 9800 yesterday without any problems.


Have you tried the hotmail account over the web to make sure its still active? I know hotmail will only accept so many password attempts before they implement more security (they used to lock the account for a few minutes, but lately I noticed they ask me to type in a word from a distorted image).


If you're coming in from a Blackberry, maybe they still lock it?? I don't know, but its probably worth trying logging in from the web.
