How To Change of Credit Card Information When Purchasing an App?

Hello, when I firest registered for my Blackberry ID, I have logged my credit card information. Unfortunately, due to security issues, I have requested to cancel that credit card and change to a new account number. However, when I try to purchase another app and edit my credit card details, I have encountered an error which does not allow me to save my new billing information?

 

Can you advise how to change this so I can proceed purchasing apps again?

 

Note: My credit card is verified as active.

Hello sdgardne, u r jst great! : ) Appreciate your reply with its timeliness and feed! :-) Thanks for the link for the instructions. I have tried to follow it but I still get the same error.

Q1 : Is there no work-around? Like cancel the existing and enroll an entirely new credit card account?

Q2 : Is it possible to reset BB ID registration and so can set up anew the credit card payment details?

Note : It seems weird that the function is just edit and update and yet it seems complicated to process :-(((( (on the verge of getting frustrated ---- awwoooooozzzzaaaaaaaaaa! *wink*)

I have similar trouble.  I could not save the credit card information after update.  I try to user another card, fail to save the new info as well.  I was suggested to use Paypal, but it doesn't work.  Some Chinese user said it might because the nationality.  :-(

Could you perhaps give us a clue what the error is? I don't think you've actually posted that yet.

 

So, from a PC (as per the instructions), you could or could not change your registered credit card? I cannot tell...

Same for me.  I got Error 12000 for both Visa & American Express.

Hello sdgarne, thank you for taking time to read and reply regarding my concern.

 

I have tried to re-input the information as per my new credit card but it still is displaying the same error (12000).

 

What I am wondering is that, all the credit card information of the initial account I am using is exactly the same

with the new one except for the account number, and BB recognize an error.

 

I will try to verify from the bank the CC currency and will feedback the result.
