How To Properly Filter Words In Subject and Body

I currently have two main email filters for my Blackberry Curve.  I'm using Blackberry Manager 4.5.  I want to create 1 filter, that searches for multiple words in the subject and another that searches for multiple words in the body.

SPAM Subject Filter

I want the filter to search for the following words: watch, diploma, deal.  If ANY of these words are found in the subject, I do NOT want them to forward.

So I input the words separated by commas, semicolons, AND?  Please give me an example of what should be in that line.

SPAM Body Filter

Same as before, except to search in the body of the message. Do I separate each word by a comma, semicolon, AND?

Thanks.

Re: How To Properly Filter Words In Subject and Body

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

While I've not tried what you are attempting, If I am interpreting the KB correctly,

  • KB04558 Add a filter to a BlackBerry Internet Service account

it is a semi-colon. (Why the screen says "separate addresses" is beyond me.) It would be interesting to hear your results...worst case, of course, you could create one filter for each word rather than putting all words into one filter.

Good luck and let us know!
