How can I keep track of sent messages?

Sometimes it's just easier to send a message from my BB when I'm on the go.  The only thing with that really is, that the messages I do send on my Curve, aren't "recorded" anywhere that it was sent.  Because if I want to go back to the message, I can't because it's not kept in a "sent messages" folder.  Or maybe there is a sent messages folder somewhere and I just don't see it.

How can I fix this?  If I send a message, I want it to be reflected in multiple spots.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You can elect to display sent items they will be displayed in your message queue,

Go to message queue OPTIONS GENERAL OPTIONS hide sent items can be sent to no.

Or go to your BIS site. Once logged in you will see the email accounts set up on there.  on the right you will see the Edit entry , click on it, and in there fill in the auto BCC with your email address and save the changes. Next go to the Filter entry Filters  click on it, in there select edit to create a filter and change the selection rule to where in the from address field and put your mail address and select do not forward to handheld, save and you are done.  You can do that for each email address that you have set in there.

This would leave you with a sent copy on your BB and a copy on your PC as well.

Thanks,

Re: How can I keep track of sent messages?

Because I do a lot of email on a weekly basis, I only keep the messages on my BB for a week.
I have been trying to log in on my computer to the BB Internet Site.  I've tried to have my password sent to me because I forgot it, and when I get the message to remind me what it is, it's blank.  Comes up with "user name and password don't exist" message.  I know if I could log in, I could change the settings perhaps.
If I change the sent messages to be hidden, are they placed in a folder?  If so, where is it?

Re: How can I keep track of sent messages?

Hi,

Regarding the BIS site , call your carrier and they can identify you by PIN .

Regarding the sent emails:

Set the option Hide Sent to no.

Send message.

Highlight the sent message  press  menu key - save message

Once saved, you can delete it from the message queue.

To view;  press menu key - select view saved.

Or use the search icon to search messages by name, text ect.

Thanks,
