Months long built in media errors (which failed to repair eventually) have brought my phone to a situation where it fails to boot up. I have tried all possible flavors of OS upgrades. I also tried RMI to wipe my phone to try OS installation but the result remains the same. My blackberry gets stuck 60 - 70% of bar at the booting screen.
I am confident, I can make my phone behave if there is a way to connect to my built in media to format it again.
Can any one help me with a tool to do so?
I am unable to connect to my phone by any means except (without a battery) to install OS again, something I have done 20 times in 3 days at least.
PS. Please help ....

Have you tried some third party software like JL_Cmder or BBSAK to wipe your device before loading any OS ?
To wipe built in media or your device you have to wipe your device using any such software .
Also can you share what you already tried to recover your device in detail .

Thank you for help.
I have tried both JL _ CMDR and BBSAK to wipe it. JL _ CMDR doesnt work for me while BBSAK does the wipe within 2 secs.
I have tried wiping the device and installing virtually all versions of OS. I have even cleared the device through M F I to try installing the OS. But the eventual result remians the same. My blackberry gets stuck 60 - 70% at boot bar; exactly the same point.
The history of my problem is 2 months ago. I have been receiving built in memory errors which eventually BB failed to repair. On a recent restart, my blackberry has reached this status.
I think my built in memory is corrupted. I need to access the built in memory somehow to try FORMATTING it or trying my luck with CHKDSK.
Can you please me here?
PS. Its a Blackberry Bold 9860.
