Thanks for your question on adding an email to your device.
To add an account using BlackBerry Enterprise Server, your company's IT Administrator who runs the BES will need to set an activation password.
If you do not have a work account, then you will need to contact your mobile service provider to ensure your email plan is configured to use personal and not Enterprise.
