How do I add my email without BES?

Here is my settings;

outgoing requires authtenication
incoming is 995
outgoing 465
requires sll encryption on port 465

Can I have some program on my laptop running that will forward my emails for me? I tried Desktop Redirector but I don't think that would have worked for me because my email isn't exchange.

Or, is it possible to BIS and enter the port settings and pop settings? (which I doubt)

If I can just run a program to forward my emails for me which would be best? I'm on Vista using Outlook and have Verizon w/data plan.

Thanks in advance.

Re: How do I add my email without BES?

Have you tried setting it up in the BIS login via the web.  I'm not exactly sure what the login is for verizon but i know the sprint one is sprint.blackberry.com.  I'm sure this would be much easier than going through on your phone.  If you did want to do it from your phone I believe all you would need to do is go through the "Email Settings" icon on your BlackBerry.  There is no need to run a auto foward from your computer unless you really want to.  I personally would go through verizon BIS website and set it up from there.

Hi and welcome to the forums,

You can set them up as regular Email accounts on your BB Device. If you want to use the BIS page for Verizon here

is the link:

If you want to do it via your device here is link to an excellant post by Specialist Tanzim:

you don't have to worry about the POP3 setting, just the account name and password. You will receive a verification message when successful. From the BIS page you can also edit the accounts, and change signatures.

It may be easier to see than doing on your BB device.

Please let me know if you need further assistance!
