How do I disable animations/transitions in OS 6?

I want to find out how to disable the useless animations/transitions that occur between each selection.

Hello cmatner

Welcome to the Community

May I know if you are using a theme or just the default OS6 theme? the animation/transitions you are referring to will depend on the current theme.

Ron

Re: How do I disable animations/transitions in OS 6?

Thank you.

I have just the default theme: "BlackBerry 6 for Verizon". Is there another theme I can install to fix the problem?

Look for themes in App World and choose the one that suits you.

Re: How do I disable animations/transitions in OS 6?

I downloaded a few different themes and they all use transitions between screens. I appreciate the "guess" that you provided, but an actual answer would be more useful. I just want my BlackBerry to be fast and efficient at its tasks, I have no need for special visual effects. If I wanted that, I would by an Apple product.

If you want a faster phone, I suggest you switch to an OS 7 device.
