Hi, Tweekart, and welcome to the Forums!
First, I am sorry to hear your BB has taken flight. Second, I trust you have already called Verizon to advise them of the theft, lock your account, and disable/cancel your SIM card?
When you say, "Need my contacts numbers from my phone from my desktop," am I interpreting correctly that you routinely backed up your device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software? If yes, then you probably know that when you replace your phone, you can restore the data as part of the Switch Devices routine. I am guessing this is not what you are asking ... please clarify? The back-up .ipd file is readable on another Blackberry ... forum techies and veterans, your thoughts?

You can try magicberry to view the ipd file created from the blackberry desktop software.

Msg for Office_BB_Guru
My blackberry has been damaged, but luckily I have backed up my data, I am trying to sync the new device so i can get all the contacts on the new blackberry.
I have connect the new device via USB to my computer but I can not do anything, its not allowing me to do anything like restore my data or sync.
How do i get around this issue?
I just want to restore my contacts on to the new device.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply
I dont think my blackberry is being detected by the desktop software.
I am using desktop software version 7+
And the phone is Curve 8520,
I really dont know what the issue could be.

I'm not sure about the desktop software version, but version 6 is the latest working version I know about.
You may have to uninstall and reinstall.

I am using a Mac computer, the download link you sent is a .exe file and so it wont run on Mac
