Re: How to Format Bold 9780 ?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

There are several different possible things that might match your desires...but there is no "format" command. Please review this for options:

  • KB16307 Actions performed by the BlackBerry smartphone during the removal of stored user and application data

On the other hand, depending on what you are actually doing, there may be more necessary. For instance, if you are intending to sell this BB as 2nd hand, then this KB applies:

  • KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after buying a previously owned BlackBerry smartphone

Good luck!

Re: How to Format Bold 9780 ?

So is it only the security wipe option, or something else which i can do.

My main purpose is to clear all memory and log files everything.

So that it becomes full fresh as 1st day of it's purchase.

Kindly suggest me the apprpriate option for my need.

To achieve that, the most stringent wipe method would be in order...ResetToFactory:

  • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory settings using BlackBerry Desktop Software

Good luck!
