How to activate Media Card

Please advise me how to activate the 1Gb Card.  I can't change the below from Off to On from the phone desktop.

Are you connected to a BES server? Its possible that your BES administrator has restricted the use media cards. Your BlackBerry should automatically ask you if you want to enable media card support the first time you insert the card.
