i performed a security swipe after backup, then i restored my Blackbery Bold 9700 however i am not able to activate my emails even after i type the password for email activation. anyone's assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Call Fido up and tell them you'd like to get set up on their online BIS site, http://fido.blackberry.com . Once you're set up, you can add email addresses to your phone, delete them, validate passwords for them, etc. Everytime you have to do anything related to the email address(es) on your phone, you login there and take care of business yourself.
Give them a call for resolution to this problem.
