I can't reset BlackBerry ID

I've tried several times now, each time resetting my password and trying a new one. There is no way I could have incorrectly typed my password each time.

 

What should I try next?

When I receive the email,

 

  1. I type in a new password
  2. I re-type the password. A message appears confirming password change
  3. I am redirected to log in prompt
  4. I type my email (for username) and the new password and press the enter key
  5. Rather than let me in, the log in prompt reappears
  6. For the each of password resets, I tried at least 3 times

As of now, I've reset my password 3 times

And you are sure this email username correctly matches the correct username?

I am pretty sure. Why would the log in prompt ask me for my email address? The one I entered is the one I use. How do I reset it?

You can create and reset your BlackBerryID Password from this link:
http://us.blackberry.com/id/

You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
Your choices are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

I was able to log in from that link using the my email and password. I changed the question. And logged out. I tried logging back in and I got the following error message: BlackBerry App World cannot complete the login request due to an internal server error.

 

All I want to do is cancel my BBM Music subscription, because I am not using it. And I can't do it

 

Also, if I delete my account, does that mean I lose my backups on BlackBerry Protect?

Has that internal server error cleared up yet?

 

Yes, if you cancel your BlackBerryID, your Protect should be able to connect.
