I can't setup my work e-mail account! :/

Hi,

 

I have just purchased bold 9900. I had the bold 9700 before, so i backed up everything and then connected my new 9900 and restored all.

 

I have added my hotmail and g-mail accounts successfully. But it's not working for my work e-mail account. see this screenshot (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/831/59241786.jpg/). I get the error both on my phone or when i login to the service provider website (Etisalat).

 

The thing is I did try this before and it worked. But I think something went wrong when I was restoring. I have tried many solutions but didn't work:

 

- Wiped off all email accounts and re-enter again

- restarted phone

- tried to setup from the service provider website

- tried using restore again for the email settings

- used different user names (fadi or fadi@facetofaceuae.com)

 

I'm starting to lose hope here and I really need it to work...

Is this work email a corporate enterprise BEST account?

Hi,

 

It's not a corporate enterprise BEST account.

 

I have successfully added it before on my old blackberry by choosing Internet Mail Account and manually adding the settings (mail server, username...etc)

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

Or, is this device registered with your network?

So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.

I do have the blackberry data plan and I told you i have 2 other emails registered Hotmail and Gmail.

 

only my work email not working...

What kind of email account is this work email?

Enterprise, OWA, IMAP, POP?
