I can't sync my gmail to my blackberry

I received a notification yesterday morning that my account was no longer verified, possibly due to a password change. I tried verifying my account but Blackberry claimed my password was incorrect, however when I logged into gmail on my computer it accepted it. I tried changing my gmail password, but Blackberry still claims it's invalid. I'm not sure what else I can do! Help!

Hello,

There are several possibilities, but to narrow down we need to know exactly what password is being requested. Please detail out the exact steps you attempt (please start from the BB Homescreen) and the exact point at which the rejection happens. Depending on where that happens, it actually may not be your email credentials that are needed...rather, it might be your BIS credentials, which are separate from your email credentials (so as to secure your email credentials inside of BIS).

Hello,

I'm going to install, email accounts, set up another email account, gmail, than, when I'm writing the email address and password, continue, and than after a few seconds I get "Update Failed"

"Install"??? I've never seen that homescreen selection in regards to email...

And you say you go into "set up another email account"??? Since your requirement is to validate your existing configured email account credentials, why are you going into that? Instead, you need to go into the existing configuration for this account and edit it with your new gmail credentials.

My e-mail is all good now, I switched off my 2-way verification and everything went back to normal!

"2-way"? Do you mean "2-level"? If so, yes that can indeed cause problems. I'm glad you figured it out. Good luck!
