I got recently a blackberry bold (O2 insure upgrade from Curve 8900) and had the same issue. At first I was able to use AppWorld and downloaded 5 programmes. After using all of them one by one started malfunctioning and at the end I was not able to use any (incl Appx World) . The msg was always the same nonsense "upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing..." only that I have unlimited internet. Also, Bloomerg applet said APN is missing (whereas it was working before). I was able to solve "partially this problem". 1. Set APN Options-Advanced-TCP/IP-APN -mobile.o2.co.uk u: vertigo p: password. That brought back to life Bloomberg. 2. For BB application world, Google etc (which still donot work) there is a post in blackberry support that says to change your default browset to internet explore (did not work) and to re-reigster teh hosting servie (didnot work). Can someone advise ? Biggest question? Why it worked before and NOT now?
Frankly, it sounds like something is amiss with your service plan from your carrier -- they control the services to which you have access, and that includes AppWorld. So, they must resolve why you are not able to access it anymore.
