download device software from carrier's website
intall it on the computer.
after that plug your device in without the battery, once in
go to Start / Computer / C drive / Program files (x86) / Common files / research in motion / app loader / Loader.
double click LOADER to run.
once run wait for it to detec your device.
once done you will be routed to choose your language.
select language then NEXT
after that you will see " finish" or " close"
click it and the process will start
during the process when you receive an error that says " cannot detect device "
put the battery back in and keep on Retrying until the process proceed.
at the end you may receive a " fatal error occurs " but that is ok.
you device should be rebooting up by now.
