Hi there!

To re-install your apps, please follow this section of the AppWorld user guide:

For more registration key information, see this KB:

In addition...RIM has released AppWorld version 1.1.0.15...it is highly recommended to be on that version.

If that does not work, then please return to these forums (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/) and register an account so that we can provide you with direct assistance.

Cheers!

Re: I purchased quicklaunch. I was given a new phone. Old on...

I am having this same issue. A ticket has been open for over 5 days now on this and I have replied to the ticket 5 times now. I am not getting any response from RIM. How long does it take to resolve an issue? Is RIM to good to reply to a ticket to give it an update? If I handled my users this way with trouble tickets I would have been fired by now.....

Is there a way to get my ticket(s) escalated to someone that has more professionalism than the person/group handling my ticket request?

Following the above steps did not get me any results. It keep the same activation code. I have uninstalled and reinstalled App World numerous times. I have even wiped my device and used an older version of App World to see if that would resolve it and it did not.

I believe this issue is due to me having my PIN switched out so many times when trying to get a 100% working phone. Verizon has had to replace my Tour 4 times so far due to faulty hardware. Each time I would install App World and log into it with my paypal account. I think this all got screwed up once my PIN threshold exceeded error came into play.

I got my PIN reset through the private message that sdgardne sent me. That was completed overnight.

I got my PIN has exceeded error resolved completed overnight

I opened up a ticket last week Monday. I have done a reply to the email I was given with the ticket number in the subject 4 times since then and have gotten no reply.

I recently opened up another ticket just to see if I get a better response and have gotten nothing again.

I have also contacted the vendor of the App and his hands are tied on this and told me to talk with RIM on getting this resolved.

This is very frustrating and makes me not want to use Blackberry App World due to this issue. I will continue to use Blackberry for work purposes but this issue has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will be looking for something else for personal use. It just seems that RIM has gotten to large for themselves and the awesome CS & TS that I use to get through the years have gone down the drain once they started moving out of the business realm.

Hello,

I can understand your frustration, but keep in mind that the world existed long before AppWorld. You can of course download thousands of apps for your device using other shops like MobiHand, Handango, BPlay or GetJAR.

English is not my mother tongue, so I don't know all the idioms. What does CS & TS mean ? consumer support and ?

I know there are other outlets to purcahse software. I jumped to the conclusion to soon with the statement.

CS = Customer Service

TS = Technical Support
