My Device: Curve 8530
My Carrier: Sprint

I really hope my problem isn't unique...

[ Edited ]

So I have a BlackBerry Curve 8530 with Sprint. Randomly, and this just started a few days ago (though it's not the first or only problem I've had with this phone), my BlackBerry will shut itself off with a full battery charge, then come back on 20 minutes later and show the battery in the red and display the whole "Battery too low for radio use" thing.

My main problem is that I can't find this issue anywhere else on the net. I'm hardly ever home when this happens, too, so I can't even recharge it.

Also, when I pulled the back off to do a battery pull, just to see if it'd help, I noticed that the battery was bulging. I've never gotten this phone wet, so I don't imagine it would be shorted out. Please help...

P.S. I suspect the battery isn't actually dead, so I've been trying to legitimately drain it by opening a bunch of apps and turning on Bluetooth. No luck in killing it yet...
