When opening my App World icon it asked me for email and password. I entered both and it's been stuck "authenticating" for 2 days now. I don't know what to do to fix this. It won't let me cancel. Your help would be appreciated!

Thank you very much! I setup a Blackberry ID but I still have the same problem on my Torch. I logged in on the Blackberry website but that hasn't cleared my phone so I can log on from the phone.

You can try to reinstall it by going to www.blackberry.com/appworld. The device may prompt for a reboot and after it does, try to log in again with your BlackBerry ID.

I have a similar problem however I get one stage further and it seems to be stuck on downloading.
I have tried re-registering my ID but this is not allowed as it says I am already registered. I have also tried rebooting to no effect.
This is extremely frustrating as until I accepted the upgrade prompted this morning I could download apps no problem.

What part seems to be stuck on downloading? Are you trying to install AppWorld itself or a different application and are not able to get past the BlackBerry ID log in screen?

I bought a Torch yesterday. Today I got a message about the new Blackberry App World. I tried to upgrade it but it got stuck like others. I want to upgrade it by using my computer but I have a question. It says "Note: Your device may reset after loading." in the page. Does it mean that I will lose all the applications, musics, preferences and videos in my device? I dont want to lose them, I dont want to do this everytime a new upgrade is possible. Can you please help me.

Hello Kardishus and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
No - this means the BlackBerry may restart after completion. It doesn't always happen when you install an application but its a general advisement should you install an application and all of a sudden your BlackBerry reboots.
If you haven't already done so, you might want to download and install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. You can back up your device to preserve your data
