Images on Email not loading

hi guys....Despite having my Storm (UK/Vodafone) on friday, I am only able to start using it properly as my number is being ported across today...as of this morning, I have a network connection and received my first emails....unfortunately, neither of them downloaded with the images that were supposed to. They were HTML format.

I checked my settings and both the "HTML" and "Download images automatically" are set to "YES".

Any suggestions please?

the internet browser version of the emails show up just fine...so it just an email thing.

Cheers, Kam

Re: Images on Email not loading

When you open one of those emails, press menu > do you have the options to get image or images?

Re: Images on Email not loading

I'm not sure now as I deleted those emails, but I'm sure i'll get some more. But the setting is set to "download images automatically" so surely that's what's supposed to be happening?

Anyway, I'll keep you posted the next time i get an email with the same problem....the only other one's I've had so far are these forum ones!!

Cheers

Kam

On each email you will still need to tell it to grab the images. The "automatic" setting is so that you don't need to grab the images the 2nd and 3rd time you get that email or in the case of regular email newsletters you get, you won't need to grab the static images each time.

Re: Images on Email not loading

I spoke to people at Verizon and BB. They said this will be fixed in furture updates. It wasn't in .75 on 12/5 but maybe soon. Eventurally the images will load every time without further promting.
