Importing photos from phone to laptop

I am unable to import photos from my phone to my laptop using desktop software. This is a new issue as I have not previously had a problem.

I have taken new photos and moved them from 'camera pictures' to 'picture library' but BB desktop software does not recognise that there are new photos to import.

Suggestions please.

Have you tried moving them back to the camera folder?

I wondered whether I might have to do that but can't see how to move them.

You'll need to use the Files application on your phone (normally in the Applications folder) to cut and paste them back to the camera folder.

Re: Importing photos from phone to laptop

Thank you for your quick reply. I've gone into files and located the photos I want to import. I've copied one and gone to 'camera' but can not paste it as there is no option to paste it there.
