Inbox Size

Greetings,

Is it possible to find out the size of my inbox? I seem to be running out of space on my Style.

Thanks,

Shane.

Re: Inbox Size

Hello SGoodman

Check how much free storage space you have
On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon. Click Device > Storage.

KB Article.

Re: Inbox Size

Hello,

The KB article tells me how to check the total free storage space. I was hoping to check the size of my inbox, because I'm trying to find out what is taking up the space.

Thanks,

Shane.

Re: Inbox Size

I don't think its possible to only check the total free storage space for the inbox. As its calculated in with the total free storage space.

[ Edited ]

There is no such thing as inbox size, only. Your Inbox is all part of the device memory space. It is limited only by the remaining space in your device memory.

Why do you think that inbox memory is low?

  • First thing? Check the File Free at Options > Status, what is the number at File Free?
  • Now, leaving the device powered ON, remove the battery of your device, hold a minute, replace and reboot.
  • What is the File Free now?

Re: Inbox Size

I tried to install McAfee Mobile Security, but it requires 200 MB of free space. My device only has 175 MB free. I was trying to see if I could free up some space.

Thanks,

Shane.

Re: Inbox Size

You do not need McAfee security on a BlackBerry.

Period.
