Information request: where is the address book/contacts stored in the BB Torch 9800

[ Edited ]

Hello everybody, Could someone tell me where exactly is the adress book/all contacts stored by default in the BB Torch 9800, i.e; in the mobile phone memory, in the SIM card (I don't think so) or in the micro SD card (media card)? Many thanks for your responses. Regards, Eric

Specifically in the device memory. Not in the media card or SIM.

That is where they are stored by default and can't be changed.

You can save contacts to your SIM card, but only one number per name, no addresses, no email addresses, etc.

How to transfer or copy my complete address book from my BB to another smartphone under Android

Hello, May I ask you another question, would you know how to transfer or copy my complete address book from my BB Torch 9800 to another smartphone running Android OS (I am going to give my BB to my daughter who would like it)? Is there any tool to do so? Could the transfer or the copy be done for all contacts at the same time or should this be done one by one? Many thanks again for your response. Regards, Eric

Yes, it should work, but first you'll need to know what file format the Android will import from.

Like planning a trip, first you gotta know whats the destination, to know how to get there. Let me know what your Android will import.
