Insert SIM card problem on Curve 9300

Hi,

 

Well, I don't know what to do with this problem.

Last week I bought a T-Mobile BB Curve 3G 9300 from Ebay and I want to use it in Ecuador with Movistar.

 

The problem is that every SIM card I put on the phone is not recognized. The phone shows a message saying "Insert SIM card".

BUT, the strangest thing is that there's ONE card that the actually recognizes and works well with. (my mom's SIM)

I've tried like 10 other SIM's and didn't work.

 

The phone is suposed to be unlocked as I've tested but I don't know if maybe that's the problem.

 

Anyone here can help me with this??

Given that the one SIM works, it's odd indeed...unless, of course, that SIM happens to be the same carrier to which your BB is locked.

Hi there i have the exact problem, and the phone is indeed unlocked,because like the link that you give,I checked and it seems that the  phone is unlocked, it seems  that i can't use this phone here!
