I would like to install (Traditional) Chinese fonts on my handset. The suggested solution I read on this forum was to upgrade the OS to the one provided by an Asian operator. This solution seems to me quite risky to implement, and if something wrong happens during the upgrade, I can't rely on any support from anyone, because the handset was not purchased from a cellphone network operator but from a retailer.
Is there a way to simply install the Chinese fonts, rather than changing the OS? I only need to be able to read messages in Chinese, not to type Chinese.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Hi romake and welcome to the Blackberry Forums
The only way is installing the OS, and first make a backup using the Desktop Manager, i am sure you don't have problems during the process, go ahead, follow this link

Do I have to install the exact same OS version as the one currently intalled on the device, or can I just intall the latest version?
