Installing new application

I am finding it difficult to install application on my Bold 9650 especially the Blackberry Protect. Its is a used unlocked Verizon Wireless phone. Every time i click on "Begin Sync" it says there is an issue connecting to the App world,. Please help me

At your main Options > BlackBerryID, do you have that configured?

BBMessenger is working and BBId is configed

I don't understand, I've never seen "begin sync" when installing an application from AppWorld.
