Internet access from my Bold 9780

Hi. I have recently changed my mobile phone provider to iiNet. iiNet use Optus as their carrier. Since changing I cannot access anything except phone calls and text messaging. They supplied me with the micro sim. Have spoken to both the carrier and service provider and no luck yet on why I cannot access the other services. Is there any advice people can give me please. Thank you. This is for a Bold 9780.

Re: Internet access from my Bold 9780

Do you have a proper BlackBerry data plan (or BIS, for BlackBerry Internet Service) from your carrier?  You need BIS and not just a plain data plan to access the features of which you speak.

If you have BIS, then register your phone on the network,

Then resend the service books to your phone,

Once you've done those two steps, remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it.

Let us know if that helps you.  Smiley Happy
