I am using Desktop Software 18.104.22.168 and am receiving the above message when I try to add a folder for Video sync. The same process worked fine for music and pictures, but not for video.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I gotta admit I am lost on this one.

It means you can't sync a folder that youv'e set as the import location for videos.
So if you've set Videos to import to c:\videos
You can't sync that folder.
(Since, you'd just be syncing the stuff to the phone that you imported from the phone).
Changing your import folder should fix the issue.

Did you ever figure out why it would not sync AVI?
I have this problem, I can manually copy them but they wont show up.
And I tried to convert them in desktop manager while sync and it still gave me error.
