Invalid Password

So i bought a blackberry from my friend, and im trying to change to Blackberry ID details to my own, however when it tells me to enter the password, it doesnt work i have used 9/10 attempts and i know 100% that i am inputting to correct password. what is going on!

                     It is you who only know the password that you have set on that device,I think you might have a  mixture of different characters in your password,and you are not able to properly enter those on the BlackBerry  keyboard. For example ,

  •     if your password isdan123
  •     And you enter d  >  a  > n  > alt  > 1 > 2 > 3
  •     the actual result will be  dan1er

 

  • You must enter :
  • d  > a  > n  >  alt  > 1  >  alt  >  2  >  alt  > 3
  •  to get dan123 on your device.

 

So, while on the BlackBerry  keyboard you think you are typing dan123, you are actually typing dan1er. Please think again and try typing the correct password or else your device will wipe itself after 10 incorrect password attempts.
