Issue with Blackberry Messenger 7.0

Dear Colleagues,

 

I have a blackberry bold 9900 and have just upgraded to Blackberry Messenger 7.0.
Now when I start the the application I get the following messages:
 
Associating BBM with your Blackberry ID
 
followed by 
 
BBM has failed to register with the BlackBerry messenger service. Registration is necessary to use the features of this application. Please ensure your device time is correctly set, open My Profile screen and check the BlackBerry Messenger registration status.

  
Please can you advise me as to what I can do.

Hi! I also have a 9900 and also upgraded my bbm. Since then I can't send any pictures (media files) to other bbm contacts, unless they are in bbm on my msg. Smiley Sad please help!!!
