Issue with reading e-mails

We have a client that is having problems recieving e-mails on her blackberry from our List serves; it appears to be adding "=20" randomly throughout the e-mail. Can anyone help me with what might be causing this, and what we might be able to do to resolve this issue?

 

Any help would be greatly apprecaited, thank you.

I believe the "=20", if I recall correctly, is equivilent to a space.

 

Knowing what BlackBerry model your client has, or their Operating System on the device would be helpful. Ask your client their exact model and OS.

 

Look at Options > About: First line is the model #

The third line down beginning with a "v.4.xxx" is the OS.

 

Ask them to open an email from you. Press the Menu key, and does the client see a choice for "Get HTML" or "Get Plain Text".

 

I have a feeling this has something to do with how your messages are encoded for HTML or something.

I was able to get the information:

Ok, that device is high enough OS for HTML email to be automatically enabled.

 

Ask your user if they have the emails from your service coming to them as text only or HTML.

Setting the HTML feature appears to have fixed it. Thank you very much for your help.
