JVM Error 513

I the got the error message JVM Error 513 on my BB so I installed BB Desktop Manager but it does not read my phone. I have gone to the option settings but it does not give me the option to detect my phone. I have followed all the directions that they have on line but I still can get it to work. What can I do?Help
