KEYPAD NOT WORKING

Hi, I have blackberry 8520 curve and the keypad its not working. I use v5 OS and I have tried to reinstall it but still, no progress, what might be the problem?

The whole keyboard stopped working or any specific button? Is your phone encountered any damage, like, water? Did you try device reset. Try this -


When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which resolves minor issues with the BlackBerry device.

 

You tried reinstalling device OS...what erros you're encountering?

First it was only one key "L" and now its the whole keypad and it haven't encountered any damage.

I have tried to remove the battery several times but nothing happens and it was a successful re installation, no any errors were encountered

If the error is related to software malfunction then a successful reload of OS would resolve it. But if the problem is related to hardware there is nothing to be done from your part. Take your device to an authorized service center for further checking by a technician.
