Ok I bought the cable today ($30 What a rip >.>), And the SIM card issue was that the phone screws in the top of the device needed to be tighter for the contact's to work...
I tried to update the phone but the desktop app was not connecting to the phone...
I did a "Battery pull" While the phone was starting I plugged it in... The desktop software said it could not communicate to the device because it was rebooting... Then the phone started and in the about section it says it's a 9100 again... And everything is working fine.
Thanks for the help guys, Still not sure how I fixed it...

Ok... It was only temporary phone thinks its a 9105 again, Is there a Firmware package SPECIFICALLY for the 9100?.... Is there another way to fix it?, I have tried the clean install 12 times now

it's the same OS software installer file for both 9100 and 9105.
