Re: LED NOTIFICATION +

Fotr the Led notification try resetting the device (with the phone turn on) taking out the battery for 30 seconds and reinstall it again.

To formate (wipe) the device press menu,

Options , Security Options,  General Settings ,  Menu again, Wipe Handheld.

What settings did you check? Go to Options > Screen/Keyboard.

Scroll down to LED Cover Indicator and make sure it is set to YES.

The green LED should blink about every 15 seconds when you have coverage. Does it?

You can do that mostly by going to Options > Security > Menu > Wipe Handheld. Follow the pompts there.

This will wipe your BlackBerry of ALL personal data, contacts, messages, calendar events, etc., so ONLY do this if you are ok with that happening. If not, do a full backup of the device first using Desktop Manager.

Re: LED NOTIFICATION +

I had the same problem and tried most of the suggestions (except doing a hard reset).  Nothing worked. I just found that for some reason my phone went into Bedside Mode. Taking the phone out of Bedside Mode corrected my LED notification problem.  Goto Applications > Clock > pull up the menu and select Exit Bedside Mode - close the applications. Turn the phone off and back on and everything seems to work fine now.
