Laptor not recognizing mi Curve 8520

I recently purchase a new laptop and when I connect the smartphone to the computer the following message appears "USB Device Not Recogniezed" How i fix this?

You need to install blackberry desktop manager, it has the usb drivers that allows the laptop to interface with the 8520.

It's installed, I"ve tried with the manager on screen and without, and the message persists.  I think it's a problem with the phone settings,  the status of the usb on the windows device manager is the following:


This device is disabled because the firmware of the device did not give it the required resources. (Code 29)

Try to stop your anti-virus or any endpoint security software then connect your device. also open your Desktop Software first before you connect your device. The Manager might not be able to read your device with DS off
