You can no longer use the handset email setup program to add an Office365 email address with access via OWA with BIS on T-Mobile. You used to be able to enter in your valid email address with a bad password and be able manually setup OWA access. Now it gives you an "Update Failed" error message. A workaround is to enter a bad email address and a bad password and then will give you the option to manually setup an email account from the handset (just found this workaround.)
Fortunately, you can now also use the email setup program from the T-Mobile website (this didn't work a while back.)
To get Outlook Web Access (OWA) working use the following settings:
Under Outlook choose Options
Then select Settings for POP, IMAP, and SMTP access
Look under the Server name for POP, IMAP or SMTP access
Server name: podXXXXX.outlook.com (XXXXX will show your actually POD number)
That's the setting you can use for Outlook Web Access (OWA) in the following format:
Username is email@example.com (domain name is your email's domain name)
Mailbox is firstname.lastname
The website email setup program doesn't recognize the following alternative format which was supported by the old handset email setup program.
https://outlook.com/domainname.com where domain name corresponds to your email settings.

This was especially not handy as my password needed to be reset and it wouldn't let me validate the new Office365 password from my handset email program so I ended up deleting it and re-adding it from the web. Note to self: Don't let email address expire if you only have access from handset.
