Latest software for bold 9900

I have updated my software too 7.0 bundle 2406 (v7.0.0.585, platform 5.0.0.734) and the battery life is terrible on it so I plugged my phone into desktop manager to downgrade it only too find I can't the only version I can reinstall is that version above so I reinstalled it and same problem battery life I have sent my phone away for repair and bought a new charger and battery still the same when is there going too be anew software avilable that doesn't drain the battery within 3 minutes my battery goes from 100% to 85% ???

First off, the 9900 is not known for stellar battery life.  That being said, your battery level should not be dropping that quickly.  More than likely, the reason is that your battery meter has not had a chance to adjust to the new OS.  Whenever a new OS is installed on your phone, the phone needs time to adjust to it, to get used to it.  I've used Bundle 2406 and didn't have any major issues with it.  I would suggest you try to cope with the shortened battery life for a day or two and see if it levels off within that time.
